Registration and Enrollment

ENROLLMENT PROCEDURES – GRADES TK-8

Registration for the upcoming school year will begin on March 1, 2024.

 

To confirm your school of residence go to the LAUSD Resident School Identifier.

 

 

Online registration:

Go to enroll.lausd.net and follow the instructions for filling out the forms and uploading required documents.

 

In-person registration:
Registration packets are available in the school office. When returning the registration packet, you must bring the following documents with you:

  • Driver’s License or other official photo identification
  • Any 2 of the following items to verify address: D.W.P bill, gas bill, moving receipts, or mortgage papers (phone bills are not accepted)
  • Immunization record (immunizations must be complete)
  • Original Birth Certificate (the official county document)

We encourage you to complete registration as soon as possible to ensure your space.

 

 

To apply for the lottery:

The on-time application window is closed. The late applications window opens February 1, 2024.

 

Go to apply.lausd.net. Scroll down to where you see the 2024-2025 School Year and click on the icon above Charter. This will take you to the Affiliated Charter Schools page. Click on “Apply Now” and you will be directed to the parent portal page to log on or register. Follow the directions and choose Hesby Oaks Leadership Charter. Once you hit submit, you will receive a message that your application was accepted. In March of 2024, you can call our office to receive your waiting list number.

 

At the end of July, we will start calling parents to come enroll their children based on available space.
